This notice is being provided to you in order to
explain our privacy policies and practices. You have
the right to know the privacy policies and practices
of the financial institution you deal with in respect to
information sharing with both affiliates and nonaffiliated
third parties. At First Security Bank, protecting
the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information
is important to us. In order to offer you the
financial products and services you seek, we collect,
maintain, and use information about you on a routine
basis. In the event you terminate your customer
relationship with us, or become an inactive customer,
we will continue to adhere to the policies and practices
described in this notice.
Definitions
We, our, and us. This will always mean First Security
Bank.
You and Your. This means our customers who have
a continuing relationship with us, such as a deposit
account; a loan account; a safety deposit box; a retail
installment contract we hold and service; and/or a selfdirected
Individual Retirement Account where we act
as custodian or trustee.
Nonpublic, personal information. This means
information about you that we collect in connection
with providing a financial product or service to you.
Nonpublic personal information does not include
information that is available from public sources, such
as telephone directories or government records.
An affiliate. This is any company we own or control,
a company that owns or controls us, or a company that
is owned or controlled by the same company that owns
or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete
ownership, but means owning enough to have control.
Nonaffiliated third party. A company that is not an
affiliate of ours.
Publicly available information. Information that is
lawfully available to the general public from official
public records (such as real estate records or securities
filings), information from widely distributed media
(such as telephone books, television, radio, or newspaper)
or information that is required to be disclosed to
the general public by Federal, State or Local law.
Information We Collect
We collect, retain, and use nonpublic, personal
information about you as allowed by law, from the
following sources:
- Information we receive from you on
applications or other forms;
- Information about your transactions with us,
our affiliates, or others; and
- Information we receive from a consumer
reporting agency.
Use of Information
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal
information about our customers or former customers
to anyone, except as permitted by law.
